Today we publish two projects undertaken by Architect Carlos Ferrater. The Mandarin Hotel in Barcelona and the Hotel Alenti in the old town of Sitges. Two works totally different from each other because of their volume, location and size but with a common denominator, the same perfect finish, the same workmanship and respect and integration into the environment, regardless of the category and adapting to the demands of the project. Dominated by clean defined lines with a feeling of spaciousness, offering a vision of majesty, as in the atrium. Light warm colours causing relaxation and peace that is so often desired by all, broken by some bold colour without disturbing the overall effect but remaining discreet..The light a major point plays on all surfaces but with different intensities creating mixtures. There only differences due to the fact that they are different establishments, one majestic urban and formal and the other a resort hotel more casual perhaps. Simply Ingenious!
