Jason deCarires Taylor the very famous underwater sculptor has just added some magnificent new sculptures under the sea in the MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte). Bringing the total of his work up to 510 permanent sculptures and his final addition for the moment to his project in Mexico as he heads back to his studio in Europe. His latest works using live transplanted coral and refracted light system are set in a linear tour of the Nizuc reef system which can be viewed by a glass sided semi-submersible. These exquisite sculptors change daily in their natural settings and come to life surrounded by the local sea life, fish, octopus, starfish etc. It is truly one of the most original and awe inspiring museum’s in the world today.
