Once again it is an honor to bring to our public the incredible Works of Jason deCaires Taylor. He never ceases to amaze us with his new collections, while his older ones continue to give great pleasure to an enormous audience. Today I have chosen several of his collections, Silent evolution Anthropocene, The Listener, Resurrection and Inertia (Mexico) The Rubicon, The raft of Lampedusa, (Lanzarote) Ocean Atlas (Bahamas) and The Rising Tide in Central London. A combination of skills in which he does not just sculpture but plans the background and the exact spot while his insight imagines how these will develop with the natural life that surrounds them in the future. It has been said that his pioneering public art projects are not only examples of successful marine conservation, but works of art that seek to encourage environmental awareness, instigate social change and lead us to appreciate the breathtaking natural beauty of the underwater world. I couldn´t agree more.
