Our post today sent in by architectural photographer Javier Bravo consists of the rehabilitation of a family home which is situated in Madrid by Mecanismo Productos de Arquitectura. This was for a family with three young children and so it necessary to take into perspective the constant movement through the home and prepare it with this image in mind. The ground floor made up the common area rooms whilst the first floor was dedicated to the bedroom and a small attic which was converted into an office space, not forgetting the garden. The idea was simple, sensational with lots of natural light while each individual space was used to its maximum. Therefore the ground floor was the main point, with lounges, halls and dining room and in its center a bubble which in which its interior is a wardrobe and entrance hall a cupboard for the dining room and a unique bodega. The rooms for the domestic staff garage kitchen and laundry room. The first floor made up of four bedrooms and four bathrooms in particular the childrens´ bathrooms which are formed as capsules by a continuous membranes inside and outside, clean, ingenious diverting but also personalized. While the attic separated from the rest of the house a private corner, the perfect office. Without a doubt this highly original design is quite outstanding.
